Your role & responsibilities

As an accountant you work from our office in Zeebrugge for the general accounting of both Belgian and foreign companies. After a familiarization period and thorough training, it is possible to work from home.

  • Digital processing and analytical booking of incoming invoices
  • Follow up payment reminders
  • Weekly payment suppliers & cash planning
  • Processing financial transactions (CODA)
  • Digital processing expenses & visa statements
  • Manage assets & depreciations
  • Monthly intercompany sales invoicing
  • VAT closing
  • Payroll reconciliation
  • Preparation of month-end closing and follow-up of balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of the year-end closing (in collaboration with the external accountant for foreign companies)

Your profile

The following qualities describe you:

  • Bachelor accountancy (fiscality) or HBO5 accounting administration
  • This position does not require any experience, depending on the experience the range of duties will be adjusted
  • An in-depth knowledge of Office
  • Experience with Business Central or another ERP software is an asset but not a must
  • IT-minded
  • You are able to work according to the internal procedures
  • You are assertive in a healthy way, proactive and you have a sense of responsibility
  • Teamplayer
  • Knowledge of Dutch / English
