Your role & responsibilities

  • Independently realize the calculation of the salaries for 230 blue collar workers in collaboration with the social secretariat as well as the necessary preparations
  • Organize info sessions for new employees and give explanation of salary- and working conditions and other benefits to this group
  • Provide information and advice to employees about social legislation, documents and procedures
  • Meticulously maintain and update the personnel administration (absences, update personnel files during onboarding or exits, rotations, promotions, etc.) and ensure that it runs efficiently.
  • Check timeclock input
  • Drawing up of contracts and other legal documents (C4, certificates, ...)
  • Management of payroll-related elements: wage deductions, thematic leave and time credit, Flemish training leave, end-of-career, ... and drawing up or filling in the necessary documents and certificates to government or other authorities, partly online.
  • Follow-up of performances and checking invoices of temporary workers
  • Checking and approving purchase invoices

You will work in the HR department with 8 other employees, but you will work closely with the 3 payroll colleagues. The tasks can be expanded over time. Your profile

The following qualities describe you:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR-related specialization or equivalent with experience in a payroll service / social secretariat;
  • You are strong in administration and you have a good knowledge of social legislation and payroll processing;
  • You speak and write good Dutch and English and basic French;
  • You are fluent in payroll software and excel;
  • You can work accurately, structured and quickly, so that all deadlines are met quickly;
  • You have a customer-friendly attitude and are discreet with confidential information.
