Planner Intermodal

What will your day look like? 

You will have varied job within a fast-growing and innovative company. You work daily with your team on the most efficient planning for our customers.   You will keep close  contact with the other operational departments not only in Venlo, but also in Zeebrugge.  You have no problem communicating via e-mail, telephone and work accurately in various systems. You always look for the most efficient solution. Contact with your (train) planning colleagues and our transporters/drivers gives you energy ! You are stress-resistant and good at keeping an overview, as there is a lot going on during a working day.  

• You register, coordinate and combine transport orders; 

• You direct the drivers and dispatch transport instruction; 

• You are creative in dealing with intermodal opportunities; 

• You ensure correct administrative handling, adjustment and follow-up of files in various systems 

When do you fit in? 

You are a quick thinker  and do you see solutions rather than problems and possibilities rather than limitations. You have a positive attitude. 

 Your profile? 

• You have 1 to 2 years of experience in administration, preferably in logistics/transport.  

• Knowledge of logistics and transport is an asset.  

• You have completed at least an MBO 4 education or you are a HBO starter and like the idea of starting your career in the logistics heart of Venlo.
