The launch of the new postgraduate “Smart Logistics” of the KU Leuven, campus Kortrijk, has been a big success!

On Wednesday 27th February, 80 students of the KU have visited the port of Zeebrugge, followed by an exclusive visit to ECS2XL.

The postgraduate Smart Logistics is set up to meet the challenges of the logistic chain, such as growing customer demands and competition, short delivery times, digital development and
automation.
The postgraduate offers students a multidisciplinary and thorough insight in economical, technological, commercial, organizational and IT aspects of the logistic chain.
Inventory management, supply chain management and design, multimodal transport, collaborative shipping, customs and financial legislation will be part of the training program.

These insights, combined with special attention for recent technological developments and possibilities, will result into continuous improvement of all logistic processes.
Students will be trained to supervise the daily logistic business, to set up strategic plans and to implement thoughtful investments.

ECS2XL is proud to have been involved in the composition of the learning curriculum and to be chosen by KU Kortrijk as a model company in which students can develop a fascinating career in
logistics.
As we strongly believe in the combination of high level education, and the practical support from the business,  we are looking forward to establish a sustainable relationship with KU Leuven.

Our cooperation with the University was also highlighted by a press visit of Focus TV – please see link below.
A nice publicity for our company and, even more, a strong motivation to be the employer of choice, for young professionals.
