Equipment Officer

Your Challenge:
As an Equipment Officer, you take the lead in managing our equipment and ensure a smooth, well-structured daily operation.

• You communicate fluently and clearly so drivers receive quick and accurate answers to their questions.
• You closely follow up on maintenance and repair requests for container chassis and trailers, ensuring that equipment reaches Zeebrugge on time.
• You manage ECS equipment and make adjustments where necessary.
• You act as the central point of contact for all equipment-related administration.
• You identify fleet-related issues, report them to the manager, and provide support where possible.
• You become familiar with the basic operations of the department and are flexible enough to support colleagues during absences, including:
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and roadside assistance
  • Administrative processing of work orders
  • Preparing work schedules
  • Drafting repair estimates in case of damage
  • Checking and approving invoices
