Description
As a Transport Planner, you play a crucial role in creating efficient routes and schedules within our ECS software application. Join our team and contribute to delivering optimal and cost-conscious transport solutions that keep our customers satisfied!
What do we expect from you?
• You prioritize customer needs and optimize transport assignments by improving combinations and routing.
• You ensure cost-effective preplanning to guarantee efficiency.
• Handling remarks and resolving issues is a continuous task that you process accurately in the software application.
• You are administratively strong and handle tasks with great precision and efficiency.
• You’re a true team player! Smooth, goal-oriented, and accurate communication with team members, other departments, and external parties is part of your responsibilities.
Working hours
• During your training period, you’ll work day shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM.
• Afterwards, you’ll participate in a rotating shift system:
o Week 1: 8 AM to 4:06 PM
o Week 2: 10 AM to 6:06 PM
• Willingness to take on standby duties in the evenings and weekends (on a rotating basis with colleagues).

Profile
Who are you?
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong planning and organizational skills to maintain oversight and work efficiently
• Stress-resistant and able to perform well under pressure
• Knowledge of the transport sector is a plus
• Good command of English; other languages are a bonus
• Extensive geographical knowledge of Europe is essential
• You strive for high-quality results
• A team player who collaborates effectively with others
• Skilled in using software applications
• Strong communication skills to connect and negotiate
• Able to set priorities and anticipate needs
• You have a positively critical mindset and work with precision
• Cost-awareness is a key aspect of your work
