Warehouse Manager

Your role & responsibilities
As a key figure within our warehouse environment, you are responsible for the smooth and efficient running of all warehouse activities. You combine operational decisiveness with strategic insight and ensure that safety, quality, productivity and budget are perfectly balanced.

You do this by:
Operations
o You organize the daily operations together with the Foremen and ensure a smooth flow.
o You get energy from having to switch quickly and coordinate smoothly with other managers about staffing.
o You always strive for order and cleanliness in both the warehouse and the car parks. – Your field of work is always in tip-top shape.
o You are administratively strong and ensure a clear follow-up of the weekly warehouse reporting together with the Foremen.
o You step in as a backup for fellow managers when necessary.
o You get energy from communicating and maintain smooth contact with customers and the administrative team.
o You are responsible for two warehouses, including one refrigerated warehouse (3°C).
o You keep a close eye on the KPIs and make adjustments where necessary.

Processes
o You will monitor, renew and implement warehouse processes in accordance with internal, ISO and IFS standards, and apply Lean 5S.

QESH
o You are an ambassador for safety in the workplace.
o You actively work with BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) principles, Take 5s, etc.
o You draw up proposals for improvement regarding safety, quality and the environment.

HR
o You are a real people person. You act as a coach for your people give training to (back-up) Foremen.
o You ensure a clear and transparent experience with all relevant stakeholders.
o You carry out evaluations and draw up the associated documents and matrices.
o You support HR in the search for new talents for your team.

Budget
o You draw up the annual Profit & Loss overview and keep your finger on the pulse.
o You manage the budget from A to Z - from daily costs to strategic investments.
o You initiate improvement processes that make a real impact.
o You manage consumables and rolling stock (MHE).
o You monitor cost efficiency at all levels.
o You provide clear and transparent reporting.
o You coordinate with other departments for smart investments.
